The Countdown Begins! As we move into December there is a lot going on—this week includes WinterPalooza and the Northern Lights parade Tree lighting at Plaza 501! Let us help keep you on track. Do you have an event to add to the calendar? If so, just send an email to us. Pictures or graphics can be included!
There are a lot of on-going events right now:
Help your neighbor! You can still help the Feed the Masses Food Drive gather food for area food banks through Tuesday November 30th. Just drop off your food donations at the Community Center, Fire House No. 1, or the Police Department.
Buy your tickets! Ferguson Main Street’s Christmas Caroling Pub Crawl still has tickets left, it will be held the evening of Friday, Dec. 10th. (We don’t recommend assuming you can buy tickets the same day!) And get your tickets to the Christmas House Tour in advance at Vincenzo’s, Paul’s Market, or BTC for $20. The tour of seven homes decorated for the holidays takes place on Sunday, Dec. 12, from 3:00-7:00 pm.
Send Mail to Santa! Santa’s Mailbox opens today at the Community Center for kids to drop off their letters to Santa—just be sure to include the child’s first and last name, age, wish list, and a self-addressed, stamped envelope. Santa will respond to letters received from now through December 16th. See here for more information.
Decorate your House! And enter Ferguson Park & Rec’s Holiday Lights Contest by filling out the form here. Judging is on December 20th, so you still have time to get ready.
And here’s the rundown for special events this week (always check for details at the event links, not all events are free):
The Ferguson Public Library has a new craft kit ready for pick-up on a first-come, first-served basis. This week’s craft is “Pulled String Art.” Get one while they last!
St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church at Darst & Clay holds its Rummage Sale Friday evening from 5:00-7:30 pm and on Saturday morning. Come thrift for things you re-use or upcycle.
Get outdoors and join Walk Ferguson for their weekly route at 9:00 am (check their Facebook for meet-up and route).

WinterPalooza! Head out to January-Wabash Park from 3:00-7:00 pm for Ferguson’s winter festival. Kids will enjoy Elsa’s Castle, inflatables and games, the whole family will find entertainment and vendors booths. Plus, you can get your photos taken with Santa.
Northern Lights Parade! The parade starts at 6:00 from Ferguson Baptist Church on South Florissant. It ends at Plaza 501, where the tree will be lit at 8:00 pm, and cocoa and cookies for all joining at 7:00 pm.
It’s the first of three Sundays for Santa and Sirens! The route will be posted the day of each event. Look for where and when each evening’s route will be on Ferguson Park & Rec’s Facebook page so you know where to go and see Santa and all his friends.
