Holiday events and more are in full swing now! Do you have an event to add to the calendar? If so, just send an email to us. Pictures or graphics can be included!

There are a lot of on-going events right now:

Send Mail to Santa! Santa’s Mailbox opens today at the Community Center for kids to drop off their letters to Santa—just be sure to include the child’s first and last name, age, wish list, and a self-addressed, stamped envelope. Santa will respond to letters received from now through December 16th. See here for more information.

Decorate your House! And enter Ferguson Park & Rec’s Holiday Lights Contest by filling out the form here. Judging is on December 20th, so you still have time to get ready.

Monday, December 6

The Ferguson Public Library has a new craft kit ready for pick-up on a first-come, first-served basis. This week’s craft is “Upcycled Hand Warmers.” Get one while they last!

And at 7:00 on the Library’s Facebook Page is a Holiday Tips and Tricks session on DIY gifts to help you gift friends and family while saving $$$.

Wednesday, December 8

The Library is hosting a virtual session on the Affordable Housing Report Card for St. Louis. The program is presented by the Community Builders Network. You can receive the zoom link by registering here.

Friday, December 10

Christmas Caroling Pub Crawl Graphic

Pub Crawl Night! Join Ferguson Main Street your fellow carolers as you walk downtown Ferguson visiting our businesses spreading holiday cheer. Tickets can be purchased on Eventbrite at this link or search for Ferguson Main Street Christmas Caroling Pub Crawl. The event begins at the Savoy Banquet Center 6:00 p.m. Caroling Pub Crawl begins at 6:30 p.m. After party (DJ, appetizers, open bar) at Savoy Banquet Center from 8:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. $35.00 per ticket. Must be 21 and older to attend. Masks are recommended and maybe required due to ordinances and business requirements.

Saturday, December 11

Get outdoors and join Walk Ferguson for their weekly route at 9:00 am (check their Facebook for meet-up and route).

Pictures with Santa! From 4:00-6:00, come take a picture with Santa, a goofy picture with your family or friends, have some Hot Cocoa, and celebrate the Holiday season at St. Peter’s UCC Church, just off W. Florissant at Stein. Just head to the first parking lot on Stein Road (park in the next parking lot up Stein). Masks are required for pictures with Santa.

Sunday, December 12

BTC’s Christmas House Tour is here! Tickets can be purchased in advance at Vincenzo’s or Paul’s Market for $20. Or you can purchase the day of the tour at the church, Blessed Theresa of Calcutta, at Elizabeth and Chambers from noon to 3:00 pm. The tour runs from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm.

It’s the second of three Sundays for Santa and Sirens! The route will be posted the day of each event and this week’s route will take place within Ward 2. Look for where and when each evening’s route will be on Ferguson Park & Rec’s Facebook page so you know where to go and see Santa and all his friends.
