In a recent discussion, Mayor Jones stated that she did not “demand” a car, she requested one:
We requested that Mayor Jones retract that statement, and she declined.
So while we are hesitant to dive into a semantic issue, given the serious issues our city faces, we do so here because it is illustrative of the entitled attitude our mayor takes toward our city’s resources. Here’s her initial email:
The city manager responded that the vehicle was not available:

The city manager again explained that the car was not available because it was being used by city staff:
Mayor Jones then complains that she shouldn’t have to carpool to Lake of the Ozarks:
