John Powell

John Powell is a theology teacher and has lived in Ferguson with his wife, Lisa, since 2006. He served on the Ferguson Human Rights Commission from 2014 to 2020. He has also been a member of the Ferguson Collaborative, the Ferguson Neighborhood Policing Steering Committee, ONE Ferguson, the Ferguson Readings on Race Book Club, and the Ferguson Oral History Project. He loves The Beatles and his cats, Autumn, Clover, and India.
