Quickly enough we have made it to Christmas week! There are fewer community events this week, but we still have a few to share.

Our Ferguson Municipal Public Library is doing it’s best to ease the way through these holiday weeks. Tonight, there is a Facebook Live “Holiday Tips and Tricks” session you can join at 7:00. Just head on over to the Library’s Facebook Page.

You can also stop by the Library and pick up a reading log for the Winter Reading Challenge through Thursday the 23rd and grab some books for everyone in the house to enjoy. (The Library will be closed Friday and Saturday.)

Ferguson Parks and Rec offers a Winter Adventure Camp for kids this week at the Community Center from the 20th through the 23rd and again from the 27th through the 31st. The camp is available from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. The registration fee is $16/day, per child (pay only for the days you need). Register online at register.fergrec.com and for more information visit fergrec.com.

And a little something on many residents’ wish lists comes on Tuesday evening, the 21st at 7:00 when the newly appointed members of the Ferguson Traffic Commission meet over Zoom. You can watch by connecting to zoom at: https://us06web.zoom.us/j/86592797581?pwd=NW03VCt4K1hsNFNEQUcrUW1oUXJEZz09 (Meeting ID: 865 9279 7581 Passcode: 713620) or phone 929-205-6099.

And although Walk Ferguson is taking a break from group walks until January, you can find inspiration for a walk in Ferguson with your own family over the holidays by checking out their previous walking routes and pictures on their Facebook page.

Happy Holidays from the Ferguson Observer and YourFerguson.org. As always, if you have an event to share just send an email to us. Pictures or graphics can be included!
